Highland Park and University Park, collectively known as Park Cities, are situated north of downtown Dallas between Route 75 and the Dallas North Tollway. The Park Cities are best known for their attractive homes and lush green parks. University Park is home to the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
Highland Park was separately incorporated from Dallas in 1913, while University Park was separately incorporated from Highland Park and Dallas in 1924. Contemporary bungalow designs constitute the predominant home architecture in both areas. Residents and visitors enjoy an array of fine dining and entertainment options.
